I met Jeff today. Of course, he started working on the server, took it down to do so, and now my site doesn't work again. When it restarted, the database wasn't working. Unfortunately, Jeff hurt himself again today (he came back yesterday after having knee surgery), and they took him out to the hospital. Knee injuries are hard to recover from, so I feel bad for the guy. Unfortunately, this also leaves me in a terrible lurch.

Hopefully, I can get Paul to reset the server again on Thursday or something, since that seemed to fix it last time. Or... maybe... just maybe... some weird stroke of luck will hit me and the site will actually be fully functional when I go in the morning so I can finally just get the next bulletins up there.

My next step is portability. My CSS (now that it's working fine in IE 6) doesn't work at all in Netscape. In fact, it doesn't even show. There might as well not even be a call to the layout file. Now, I know that there isn't going to be anyone around the place using Mozilla, Opera, or Firefox, so I'm not really worried about those just yet. However, according to the developer, it should work in everything except IE 5.

How very frustrating. Browser compatibility sucks.

Blogging's at an all time low as far as personal stuff is concerned. Then again, that's probably because anything to do with my personal life is also at an all time low. The numbness has returned, and I don't know why again.

I'm hoping it's just PMS again. Everything just gets so... blah... I wish I could understand it.
