long time no blog
I've had some serious writer's block... both here and in my RPGs. I sit at my computer, open IE to the RPGs or my blog, tell myself that I should post something, and then close the window.

It's not that there's nothing going on in my life or that my imagination has shut down. There's plenty going on here...

• work study


• upcoming con issues


• annoying family problems

And I have story ideas for my RPGs, just... the timing's off and I can't write them yet because the situations haven't presented themselves to lead into the ideas I have. That... and the current situations in the RPGs leave me with nothing. I hate timing.

I don't want to be here at work study today. I'm calling people who are graduating before August... or have graduated this past December... to make sure their cap & gown order forms are in. They were supposed to have submitted them last Friday. I don't think we should push for anymore... but that's just my opinion.

The administrators just want to see a big graduating class so that it looks all impressive, I guess.

I just don't want to be on the phone.

Of course, there's not much else to do today.

The handrail on the steps down to Student Services broke. It sort of just came out of the wall and is now laying on the steps. Go figure. And now they're saying we're stuck in this building until June.

That's gonna suck. I hate this building.

car woes
My car's acting up again. It shudders again when I accelerate. The other day, it was idling rough, but it hasn't done it again since.

What bugs me is that we took it in and got some work done on the spark plugs and wires. Apparently, that wasn't the problem... because it didn't solve the problem.

On top of that, my CD changer sounds terrible and I've only had the thing for just over a year. I think it's supposed to last a bit longer than that... wouldn't you?

On a good note, I got an alarm with remote start installed. {{grin}} It freaked out on my last night, but that seems to have been a one time thing. We'll see how it acts tonight. It was rather embarassing to be standing there in the school parking lot hitting a button on a remote and nothing was happening... only to use the key and have the alarm go off... and add on to that the fact that I couldn't shut the stupid thing down.

Yeah... I had that problem once with my Regal, too... You think I wouldn't be embarassed by that anymore. ^^;;

grades schmades
I talked to Prof Tyrie today. Apparently I added my average wrong somewhere along the line because she got an 87% and I had gotten a 91%. I don't know how I messed that one up... but an 87% is definitely a B+. So... I'm now stuck with it.

It's not too terrible, since I'm only down 3 points on my cum GPA... but, still... it's disappointing to me. I'll never graduate with a 4.0 now for my 4 year.
