mini-golf!
Estelle stopped by with the baby today. Mom and Dad got to play with him a bit. He was just as fascinated with my dad this time around as he was last time. I think it's the full beard and moustache. It seems to freak kids out a bit sometimes. Dad has dark hair, so maybe when it greys out a bit more it won't be so scary for little kids... Then, he can play Santa or something...

Anyway, I went back with her, and we got dinner. We had planned on taking the baby to Chuck E. Cheese, but it got late, so she put him to bed. Johnny said we should go out, so we made a quick decision and headed over to Castle Golf. YAY! It's been ages since I've played mini-golf. We decided that, since we're starting to get back to being a group again, we should get together and all go play as a group again. It'll be nice to do.

I took Nana to the pulminologist today. We grabbed lunch beforehand, and then headed over for her appointment. I was surprised at how fast we were in and out of there. It was really good.

While I was sitting there, two women walked in that I swore looked like they had just walked off the set of that sitcom, The Nanny. It was like Fran Fine's mother, Sylvia, and her grandmother, Yeta, had just walked into the waiting room. The heavy make-up, the big hair, the sizes of the two women, the ages... it was perfect. I nearly fell off my chair and died trying to hold in the laughter. Instead, I sat there with my eyes closed and pretended to be bored and sleeping while I waited for Nana to come out. It prevented me from having to look at them to try to hold back from laughing.

Mom's about a fifth of the way through the book now. Hopefully, it won't be much longer before I can look at it myself.
