GeoCities is being a pain again. I used to have my site hosted there and have since moved to my own domain... http://www.therealmonline.org/... Unfortunately, Yahoo took away FTP capabilities from the free sites, so I can no longer download the images I had stored on GeoCities through FTP. I actually have to go into my File Manager there and individually view and save each and every image I have.

And I have a lot of images...

On top of that, I can't even just link to the images where they're currently hosted. Apparently, you have to view the GeoCities page first, with the images, before you can view the images on another site. Is that dumb or what? And I know this isn't just me. The guys at American Eagle (a squadron for the game Delta Force http://www.geocities.com/dfamerican_eagle/) have the same problem with a few of their images for their forum. Their forum is hosted by ezBoard and their website is on GeoCities. Any images they have hosted on GeoCities that they linked to on the forum aren't coming up unless you view the regular site first in that same browser window.

{{sigh}} Ah well. Whatcha gonna do, right?

Well... comments are working again. Dunno how that happened. For a while, they were in another language, but I got that fixed.

Well, I sort of have archives working... but not my comments... I don't know what's going on with that.

Well, I had a fairly good Christmas. I got a PlayStation2 with an extra controller and two games (yay!), Monsters, Inc. on DVD, money (yay!), two new ornaments, a bath set, the Holiday Barbie for this year, and some other stuff. Plus, we got snow!!! Well, it didn't come until about 5 pm on Christmas night, but we still got SNOW!!! YAY!!!

LOTR was great! I really had a good time. My ex's new girl seems okay. I didn't talk to him all that much, but she was really nice. One person didn't make it. I tried paging him a few times, but he never got the pages and his phone didn't display my number, just that he had missed a call. Guess I should have left a message on his phone. Not that it would have mattered since he didn't get out of work until 7 and that's when the movie started. He wouldn't have made it.

I played the Harry Potter trivia game the other night at my friend's house. It was pretty cool. I kept getting the hard questions, which all happened to be under the "Muggles" category. I might have won if I had remembered to go to the Gryffindor house instead of the Ravenclaw house. I drew a Gryffindor card, but I usually end up in Ravenclaw when I take online quizzes. {{blush}} Silly me...

On a better note, I was able to pay off some bills that had built up with the paychecks I got from my job. Now... I just have to find a job before next month is over so I can pay the next group of bills... o.o;;;

I also saw Star Trek last night. It wasn't bad. You have to be a fan to appreciate it, but I'm glad I saw it. Special effects were great. The storyline lagged a bit, but there were some neat twists and *huge* changes to the Enterprise crew. Now, for those who saw, don't post any spoilers in the comments, yet! LOL... But, I did enjoy the movie overall and had a good time.

We got our x-mas tree today, too. It smells great! Nothing better than a fresh tree, if you ask me. I'll be decorating it tomorrow after the branches settle down a bit and before we all go to see LOTR. We're going to try for the 9pm showing at the new theatre near us. I'll let you know how it went... I'll be seeing my ex-fiance, Paul, and his new girl. Should be interesting, to say the least..... Especially since I don't have a date.
