Monday, March 29, 2004 ( 1:17 AM ) The Duchess I had a pretty good time. John and I hit the dealer room. I got myself a Kilala plushie, a deck of Inuyasha playing cards, and a box of pocky. John got himself two artbooks, two models, a Superman Matchbox car, and a whole bunch of other stuff. He spent a lot more than I did. lol... Then we went to the anime drawing seminars as well as the CG workshop. I learned some neat stuff there that I can use for my webcomic (when I finally start really working on it... ^^;;) and my fan art. My costume ripped, tho'. ;_; I tied the corset too tight and the seam split on one side. Not all the way through, and the corset's reversable, so I can still wear it, but the purple side has a hole now. Mom said she'd try to fix it, but she's not sure if she can. And I kept stepping on the skirt... It's too long. We're going to have to take it up. But, the cape was great. I got complemented on it at the bagel place. lol... Also, this Inuyasha otaku (and I mean otaku in the true Japanese sense of it, not the lame anime fan sense) took my picture simply because I was carrying around my Kilala plushie. Figures... # |
