Thursday, January 01, 2004 ( 6:35 AM ) The Duchess Eek! I hope everything works out okay, Dan. Thanks for letting us know, though. ^_^; And I still can't believe I actually was crazy enough to brave the crowds and massive security to go to Times Square!!! {{screams}} I'm so *way* overly wired at the moment... {{runs around insanely}} I hope everyone else had a good New Year's! # Wednesday, December 31, 2003 ( 4:48 AM ) Danny Play Sorry guys. I haven't been on much lately because my Mom's in the hospital. # Tuesday, December 30, 2003 ( 1:26 AM ) The Duchess {{giggles}} Greek food... makes me think of My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Windex anyone? # ( 12:23 AM ) Angie There's a really nice Greek restaurant in St. Paul's Union Depot called Christos. My dad took my brother and I there, since my mom and sister don't really like Greek food. @_@ Anyways, I had a great meal there, although I'll need to try to define everything for you guys. I had a sampler platter since I couldn't make up my mind as to what I wanted. ^^; Greek salad--tomato, cucumber, onion, caper, kalamata olives, feta cheese with olive oil and vinegar dressing Spanakopita--spinach and feta cheese wrapped in phyllo pastry Moussaka--ground lamb (although this place used beef instead), eggplant, tomato sauce Dolmathes--grape leaves stuffed with rice, ground lamb, onions, with a bunch of seasonings # Monday, December 29, 2003 ( 5:23 PM ) The Duchess Greek food... Only greek food I've had is the stuff we get at the diners out here. ^^;;; Mom likes Chinese for that purpose. We went into the city yesterday and hit this french place on 6th & 57th called Rue 57 (how original...). This guy sat next to us and, to quote a teacher I had in high school, was 'rude, crude, and socially unacceptable'. He was cursing his head off, tonguing his wife's ear, and just plain loud. Not to mention he had to comment on every meal brought to every table within his sight. Mom was >thisclose< to dumping her water on him. # |
