Saturday, November 15, 2003 ( 7:19 PM ) The Duchess The Anime-on-Demand Network has Boogiepop Phantom available right now. I just can't order it without paying $6.95 a month for the channel... O.O;; # ( 12:25 AM ) Angie Boogiepop Phantom is a really cool series, if you like dark and thought-provoking stuff. We watched the first three episodes in anime club tonight...just...could someone edit #2 so there are no spiders in it? *runs and hides* # Friday, November 14, 2003 ( 10:56 AM ) The Duchess I've had sinus infections... and probably have one already. It's very easy for me to get them because of my allergies... ick. I hope that flu shot works for you, too. I tried using my CD Burner the other day and it froze XP. O.O;;; Now I have to figure out why. Mom and I are going baby girl shopping this weekend. Yay! # ( 8:42 AM ) Laura Flu is icky. Hope you don't get sick, Mandie! I've registered for spring semester. It felt kind of odd. First, I woke up 20 minutes late, so I was worried I would get locked out of one or two of my classes. So I raced to load the website and enter my course numbers. Then five seconds later the screen telling me I got all my classes came up and I just sat there for a few minutes. It was the last time I would have to register for undergrad classes, and it felt really really strange. Not sure if I was happy or sad. I did screencap the thing, though. Boy, am I ever a dork. Andrew laughed at me for it. :P I have a load of work to do this weekend. Mostly just programming and animation, but I'll be in the computer lab virtually all weekend. ;_; I suppose it's a good thing that Andrew had to go home this weekend. [I think his cousin's getting married or something.] This way I can get loads of work done without random distractions. Of course, this is a lie. We have a Japanese PS2 in the house now, along with 3 new games to play. Tales of Symphonia, GetBackers, and Tokimeki Memorial: Girls Side. Haha, that last one is a dating sim. The original is for boys, being that you try to date girls. Girls Side is the opposite, and we're going to have fun messing with it. All three games are in Japanese, so it's testing out translation skills. It's weird how many kanji I can randomly recognize now. And if I studied more, I'd be able to read the dialogue better. Heh. Well, speaking of studying, I'm going to get some more work done here. But I promised I'd come up with some plot ideas or something. I'll send'em along once I work out details or at least some sort of timeline for my own plots. Of course, they'll be subject to change when everyone gets in on the plotting. >D *runs* # ( 8:01 AM ) Mandie Hey chica... You ever get checked out by a doctor about your sinuses? If not you might want to, my dad had sinus infection and just thought it was allergies... and you so don't want sinus infection to keep going O.O Oh... *sigh* well the first outbreak of the Flu that I'm close to just happens to be my bestfriend... crap... *prays* flu shot better work... flu shot better work.... She came down with it on Tuesday, which means she was contagious with it on Monday... and I just had my shot Saturday... crap! # ( 3:29 AM ) Danny Play I installed my own CD Burner!!!! YAY ME!!!! *runs off to go watch taped Digimon Frontier episodes* # Thursday, November 13, 2003 ( 3:56 PM ) The Duchess Sometimes I think the only reason we have sinuses in our heads is for them to get clogged up and be annoying and painful. All my tests are the week of Thanksgiving... Tue and Wed... Joint pain definitely sucks. And.... IT'S A GIRL!! Annabelle Lee Partlow was born to Stacy and John on November 5th. A healthy 8 lb 8oz little girl at 20 in long. Stacy had a very easy birth, and both Mom and Daughter are doing great. I got pics in e-mail the other day. She's absolutely adorable. # Wednesday, November 12, 2003 ( 8:11 PM ) Angie Joint pain sucks. Gotta go to Health Services tomorrow so the nurse practitioner can try to find out what's wrong with my elbows. >.> And the person who made a chai latte tonight at the coffee bar cannot do it right. I got a little chai and a lot of milk. Blech. If I wanted warm milk, I'd do it myself. # ( 4:55 PM ) Mandie Oy.... that test was AWEFUL!!!! I know I didn't get 14 of the points for a fact... because... I DIDN'T GET TO THEM!!! *cries* Knowing the pattern of what I've gotten on other tests, I missed other stuff too so I probably failed the test *sigh* I should still pass the class... but I was really really trying for a B... Maybe by some miracle and a whole lot of help from a private tutor I can pull a B on the final... in which case I'll get a B in the class.. Here's hopin... # Tuesday, November 11, 2003 ( 9:21 AM ) Mandie *cries* my net decided to crash last night and I missed chatting with people *beats head on keyboard* What is conspiring against me to keep me from chattin'? *looks at watch* well I've got to run and go study for O Chem now... *pitiful laughter* I have a test tomorrow... # ( 4:36 AM ) Danny Play Laura dear. At least you've been to someplace that isn't surrounded by water. x_x;;;;; # Monday, November 10, 2003 ( 11:45 PM ) The Duchess I. Am. So. Sick. ![]() Just shoot me now. I went out Saturday and I'm paying for it. All I did was see two movies! I swear!! We saw The Matrix: Revolutions and Scary Movie 3. I posted reviews on my blog if anyone's interested. I also put one up for Matrix on my forum, but that one has spoilers. # ( 11:46 AM ) Laura I can't make my knees move properly without great effort. @_@ Yes, there's a story to this. We went to Nekocon this weekend in a Volvo stationwagon. Seven of us. Now, if you've ever seen one of these cars, you will know that 5 adults can fit in this thing with luggage. But apparently 2 bodies can be crammed in with the luggage in the back trunk area. Owwie.... ;_; At least I fared better. I'm only 5 feet tall, so I wasn't too cramped. [Also a former gymnast, so I'm pretty flexible.] Poor Andrew is much taller than I am, [He's about 5'10".] so he wasn't too thrilled about being in the trunk. Well, other than being crammed in the trunk with me, at any rate. ^^;; The con was....okay. My blog has a little summary about it. Nothing too interesting, other than what I noted. >.> And I may be sick. Not sure. I think it went away. It's sodding cold here again. ;_; Not fun. A rousing 45 degrees. [Yeah, yeah, Angie, I know that's not that cold, but I haven't gloves right now, so it's cold enough.] And it's forecasted to be about 57 and partly cloudy on my birthday. It's better be sunny, dammit, or there better be snow in those clouds. >:O! I've never had a flu shot before. *shrugs* I think I've had the flu once, when I was little. And for your edification, I'm really, really going to Israel this winter. :D I leave December 28th. No, it's not going to be that much warmer. ;_; But it'll be fun, and not this country for once. [I've never been out of the US, as sad as that is. >.> My brother managed to get out before I did. ;_;!!!] # ( 8:49 AM ) Mandie Well I got a taste of why I hate flu shots on Saturday O.O I got my flu shot... and then subsequently got a headache so killer I thought I was going to thow up. Turns out my aunt, who's a nurse, got her shot as well and got a headache so bad she did throw up. So it's not just me that has that kind of reaction to the shots, it just sucks royal. Let's see... weekend... it was very uneventful. Had the parade on saturday and that was all I did other than study... Then yesterday finally got to sleep in and hit the books. Then we went over to my grandma's for dinner, it was my uncle and aunt's birthday celebration. That was fun... We had Prime Rib *drools* and a lot of other really good food. And a big piece of chocolate cake for dessert... then went home, studied a bit more, watched Storm Stories with my parents, got online for an hour and then went to bed... Pretty uneventful weekend. # |
