Saturday, October 25, 2003 ( 12:06 AM ) Mandie *looks at weather report* Oh YAY! It's suppose to be in the hight 60's tomorrow... good... I'll be warm at the game but not hot... We play San Jose tomorrow... then next week I'll be gone Thursday and possibly Friday... We're going to Salt Lake... BSU is playing BYU on ESPN... I think the game starts at 5:30 my time in case anyone is interested. # Friday, October 24, 2003 ( 10:45 PM ) The Duchess We were in the 40's today... {{shivers}} It threatened flurries Wednesday night... I stayed under my blanket instead of looking. I like snow, but not in October!!! # ( 5:37 PM ) Angie *sigh* I can deal with no snow. Just that NO ONE ask about weather here from now until April/May! :P *can't help but laugh at the idea that 50 or 60 degrees is cold* I wish it was that warm here. Oh wait...it's 51 degrees. Nevermind. ^^;; # ( 4:18 PM ) The Duchess Heh heh... there's ways to be 'up' anywhere... ~_^ But, besides that... I'M SO BORED!!! # ( 4:03 PM ) Albert Kinda on the colder side, Mandie *chuckles* and no laughing, Angie. # ( 3:53 PM ) Mandie What about 50 or 60 degree temps with sunshine and wind? Is that okay?... I hate when the weather changes over night, but it does like to do that here... # ( 3:48 PM ) Albert Florida may be at a lower elevation, and 'down' in terms of north and south. But there are other ways to be 'up here'. :P So we've reached an agreement, and I see that Laura agrees; no snow, and no spiders on this blog. # ( 3:26 PM ) Laura Could we not talk about how cold it is in town XYZ? I have to talk to my housemates about turning the bloody heat on finally. I'm so cold half the time that I can't feel my fingers! ;_; And AJ, please no spiders. If not for Angie, for the fact that I will come down there with my roommate's iaito and stab you. [It's a kind of Japanese sword, for those who haven't heard about this from me before.] Spiders and I do not get along. --; I moved the rest of this post to my own blog. I felt like I was taking up the entire page. @_@ # ( 11:00 AM ) The Duchess random thought of the moment Why is it that telemarketers call the office when everyone else calls the office, too, flooding me with six calls at the same time to juggle between recipients who don't want to talke to them? # ( 4:51 AM ) Danny Play *reminds himself to bring a bat for killing spiders* # ( 2:19 AM ) Angie You mean "live DOWN here". I'm farther north than you. And we don't have that many mosquitoes by the Lake. Therefore, not much need for those creepy 8-legged things that scare the living shit out of me! # ( 1:38 AM ) Albert And spiders are an innocent species who eat the misquitoes that live up here all year long. :D # ( 12:29 AM ) Angie But snow is a vital part of what winter is like up here! Ask about the weather and I'll be mentioning snow until April or May! # ( 12:23 AM ) Albert *chuckles* no spiders, no snow, deal? # ( 12:12 AM ) Angie NO!!!! *clings to AJ* no spiders no spiders no spiders no spiders no spiders # ( 12:02 AM ) Albert You can talk about snow if you want to, hmm? *gets an evil look* Then I can talk about spiders? # Thursday, October 23, 2003 ( 6:16 PM ) The Duchess Stupid school computers... I got messed up and my last post should have been on my regular blog... {{diesdiesdies}} Since I can't see the regular version of Blogger there, just the Lo-Fi, I can't tell which blog I'm posting in half the time. {{sigh}} I can't see the posts at the bottom of the screen... Grr... SNOW!!! {{hides under a heated blanket}} I'm freezing enough as it is... we had rain last night with a chance of snowflurries already. In October!!! I watched the guys sweating it out at the World Series game in Florida totally jealous. # ( 1:43 PM ) Mandie Mmmmmm snow... Maybe this year we'll get some good snow... we needed and Damn it... I wanna learn to snowboard! # ( 1:21 PM ) Angie And why not? I can talk about snow if I want to. :P # ( 1:09 PM ) Albert ACK! Don't talk about snow! *shivers in 80 degree weather* # ( 1:07 PM ) Angie It's in the 40s with a biting wind today. I can't wait for winter to hit so the snow starts flying around. # ( 12:52 PM ) Mandie Nope... the temp here just dropped 20 degrees over night and it's windy now... *chuckles* Not that I mind, I kinda like fall. # ( 12:09 PM ) Albert *cough cough* alright, that's the end of that thread! Now then, is anyone else's weather as beautiful as we've been having? # ( 11:47 AM ) Vahun I am truly sorry, Madame Angie. But I do not owe you anything. # ( 4:33 AM ) Danny Play I'm not sure I want to know. *puts a sticker that says "Hello my name is Hopeless Geek" on Jessi* # ( 2:49 AM ) Angie Vahun, you owe me. BIG TIME. An explanation of what you did last night will do to start with. You'd better hope that I eventually place a dollar amount on what you owe because you'll never be able to pay it off otherwise. # Wednesday, October 22, 2003 ( 8:18 PM ) The Duchess yayness!!! So, big yay for me! I got an 'A' in another class. I'm really excited about this and I really hope I did well on my test last night. I *so* want to graduate with that 4.0 now. And I'm >thisclose< to doing it, too. ^^;; I'm such a geek. bored and waiting Anyway, now I'm just waiting for the rest of the SIFE team to arrive. We got out of my last class early. It's about 8:20 now... so maybe I'll go circle the building and see if anyone else is here. Paul said something about there might not be a meeting tonight because of midterms and finals and whatnot... so there might not be anyone here. I have to go look now... # ( 7:45 PM ) The Duchess Well... he's still technically a member... and I'm always the type who's willing to give someone the chance to return if they so please. {{shrugs}} Call me hopeless, if you will... LOL. Anyway, that was something I thought about earlier when he first decided that he needed time away from everyone. Should we remove him from the blog, or leave him as a member in case he decides some day to return? I didn't do anything about it because I didn't want to just dump him like a hot potato, you know? What do you guys think? And let's be objective about this. Personal feelings aside, do you think we should leave him as a member in case of an eventual return, or should we consider it done and remove him? And I'm done with my classes! I start my next set... next week... O.O;; Figures... Not much time off this semester. # ( 12:49 PM ) Vahun My blog is this http://vahun.blogspot.com/ But I do detest it. I would like to have rather than draw a journal to write it. And this blog system does not recognize some French Letters. I congradulate anyone who can read my blog, though, as it is all in Français. # ( 12:01 PM ) Mandie Uh... you might want to take Triton off the list of blogs... that address is wrong now... and I don't think he's going to be back here. I have an O Chem test on Friday... gah *cries* I so don't want to take it... I just want this class to be over already... # Monday, October 20, 2003 ( 10:32 PM ) The Duchess Hey, what's the link to Vahun's blog? I'd like to add him to our list of 'random thinkers' over there. Anyway, I don't know if I'd ever be up for bug collecting unless it could be all butterflies. ^^;;; But, that's just me. My main page has a butterfly logo on it that I made. I'm debating if I want to incorporate it into a future blog layout. I also take it that Vahun's hands are doing better since he was able to type with us last night in the conference. That was fun. ^_^;;; Too bad you weren't online with us, Laura, Darren. You missed some crazy stuff. Anyway, back to homework. I fell behind during last week's trip upstate, so now I have to catch up with things. I did my presentation today, as well as took a test (but I did really well!), and I have another test tomorrow that I need to write three essays for before I go in. Then, we have a choice of four more essays and then a choice of 23 multiple-choice/true-n-false questions. {{sigh}} School can suck sometimes... # ( 7:59 PM ) Mandie *grumbles* my crane fly fell appart when I went to pin it today... I could have just glued it back together but it was missing several legs... and that just doesn't work. Missing one or two legs is okay just not FOUR *twitch* all others seem to be holding up pretty well though... with some minor gluing for my dragonfly x_x;... My mantis is now drying too although I've kept her eggs... I hope to hatch them and let them go in the spring... maybe keeping one for a pet... Yeah I'm weird. I got Metallica's Saint Anger CD yesterday... nice, verra nice album *grins* Oh and just so everyone knows before I actually get the pictures taken... I'm going as a Death Dealer from "Underworld" for halloween. One of my friends found me this awesome pleather jacket that is just perfect, and I'm borrowing her leather pants, then I've got boots that work already... It's going to be fun... and I will have pictures taken... hopefully will get them scanned into the computer before too long. # ( 12:18 PM ) Angie I don't know about the models looking fine without paint, actually. Bandai has a very annoying habit of coloring pieces one color that have to be painted a different color. *thinks of engine covers on the Tallgeese suits that had to be painted...WHITE* I hate painting pieces white...it takes several coats of paint to take care of those. And speaking of models, I should go visit the hobby shop sometime. As soon as I pick up a bus schedule to go to one West Duluth business area that is inhabited mostly by bars. The hobby shop is next door to one bar. --;;; # ( 11:58 AM ) Albert *chuckles* I told you before, Angie, you're not a dork. You don't WANT to be a dork...*sets dictionary aside* Personally, I think the models and figures look fine without any paint, heh. Well today marks the second start at our bug hunting escapade. We'll be avoiding snakes, as well as spiders, because Mandie doesn't need anymore spiders *cheers* And now that Darren and Vahun can be in the same room again *eyeroll* we're going out as soon as Darren gets off of work at 1:00....and as soon as I can type up a three page sword fight I had with a friend who wants to read it. *makes note to self to turn on Yahoo Messenger Archievs* # ( 9:36 AM ) Laura *overloaded by schoolwork* Midterms are evil. And projects too. ;_; And I think I'm getting sick, to top it off. Couple of us are getting sick. ....okay, maybe only one other person that I know of, but that's not the point! *hides* Parents weekend was interesting, with my parents at the anime club dinner we threw. Andrew got to meet them again for more than five minutes and actually said more than two words. *evil grin* My parents are the nicest people in the world, but being the boy, he was more than a little nervous to meet them. Especially when he has a tendency to say kinda stupid things in front of large groups of people. *grins* So silly. Never got into model kits. Drawing was more my forte. Speaking of which, I've drawn the line-drawings for the November calendar, Angie. Finally. >.> Work to do at work! *runs* # |
