I'm hiding from stupidity at this point. I'll be online tonight hopefully so I'll explain it all then. Essentially, there was a phone conversation last night that really made me mad/sad/annoyed and several other fun emotions. And made me realize how much of an idiot some people can be. #

Penicillin... yuck. I'm allergic. I have to use biaxin, which makes everything taste metallic while you're on it.

Aaaand... who are we hiding from, Robyn?

Cute comic, D. #

I've come to a decision. I don't care anymore. Apparently worrying offends his damn sensibilities, so screw it, I don't have the worry to waste on him anymore. Between work, SJC, the Hatchet, school looming on the horizon, and the fact that they *still* can't really ID whatever I have, I have plenty to think about. He got his wish. Now if he could leave me the hell alone for the remainer of the summer, I think I'd be set. In this vein, I'm not going to be online on AIM unless it's under my new SN. Angie has it, and it doesn't much matter as we all talk on Yahell anyway.

In other news, I'm on penicillin now. Yay? But my parents are reimbursing my insane Student Health fees. YAY! I'm giving them the forms so they can get the insurance company to reimburse us, but they're giving me the money now so I am not so broke. @_@ Penicillin, while making me kinda sleepy, is my friend. Here's to smaller tonsils! :P #

Hmm. Ok. I'll shut up about the Asian girls thing... >_>

Oh? Kat-chan is coming to visit Laura? Tell her I said hi, although I don't think we've met. I've only seen that one picture... o.o;;;

Um, yeah... Can't remember what else I was going to write. #

Weather, blah.

I could be considered exotic for Long Island because I don't sound like one either. I sound more like I'm from upstate a bit... not hick sounding like the ones from Northern NY (Syracuse up), but probably around Westchester or so. LOL. Other than that, I'm majorly the girl next door around here. #

Angie I think you get both Winnepeg weather and Boise weather... We mapped out a storm once that hit me and you got it three days later *chuckles* as I remember. Anyway I don't know the meaning of the word cold truthfully... Boise's most extreme winter got to -25 once when I was like 8, but that's the lowest most extreme we've ever had. For the most part extreme for us is like 11" of snow in one storm that melts two days later or temps from 5-13 degrees at the extreme. Most winters we get 3 or 4" of snow in the valley all winter with 30" or so up our ski mountian and several feet in THE mountians, temps usually stay above 10 degrees too so no harsh harsh temps... This year it was like in the 30's and 40's all winter with NO moisture, which wasn't cool.

*cheers* I get to go swimming today *dances* I got today off and me and two of my girl friends are headed out to swim instead of going to the movies. I'm so looking forward to it! I haven't been swimming since last August and that was to Roaring Springs when our band director paid for it. #

Oh crap. Stupid blogger doesn't appear properly on my computer at work again. Either that, or it's having a brain fart. :P Like blogger has a brain...

Anyway...

Danny: Asian girls. *sigh* Don't get me started on his damn fixation. And my friend Kat's coming out to visit. She's Korean. One more joke out of him and he's getting a mallet to the head.

I'm not exotic looking. I'm not even all that interesting to look at. [Or at least I think so. :P] There's quite a few shor blonde people at school here, though I do wonder how many of them are natural blondes. But I guess I'm exotic as I'm from NJ but don't have an awful accent. I've got more of a flat Midwestern sound to my voice. *shrugs* Either way, I sound like my mom. >.>

The reason it took so long for me to post was simply the fact that I forgot about this blog for a couple days and I was dealing with what we students at GW so fondly refer to as "Student Death", but what's actually "Student Health Services". Chris so kindly suggested that I had the plague, but luckily he was wrong. Of course, no one knows what the hell I have, so I'm back at work and bored. :P This gives me the opportunity to write more of that fic for Mandie, which I know she enjoys. :D I get inspired at work, since my brain is doing NOTHING at all so much that it wanders into interesting places. [BTW, we need to talk about a specific plot point that occurred to me yesterday. It could be a problem, but I think I have a small way around it? I'll be online later tonight, so maybe we can talk about it. ^^]

BLARGH. Hm, the new intern girl disappeared permanently, but I could get her paid slot for my last 6 or 7 days. $$=Laura not starving. :P

As for cold stuff? Meh, I'm impervious to cold weather at this point. We get a wide variety of weather fronts in New Jersey, believe it or not. It's been 20 below and over a 100, we get blizzards, blistering heat, even a hurricane or two. All in a year of the life of New Jerseyan. :P Makes for fun uses of our snow days at school. #

{{is thankful she lives on Long Island and only gets insane winters like last year's on occasion}}

D, I editted your post to make that a clickable link.

Recommended link code:

Change the red text accordingly. You can add in the attribute target="_blank" after the address but before the closing bracket to make it open in a new window.

Triton, boyo, I live in MINNESOTA! >.> Minnesota cold is similar to Winnipeg cold.....not surprising since Minnesota is directly south of Manitoba so all Manitoba weather loves to come down here. x_x Besides, we get all the "Alberta Clippers" in the wintertime...I know cold. Just that no one else does. >P #

      ( 2:26 PM ) Triton
Dan-O, even *I* am exotic-looking where I live... and I'm a white American!!! (that's what you get for living in the East end of Vancouver where all the Asians go... *grins*)

You guys didn't think I was going to let you talk about me and not have me show up, eh? I know all and see all... occasionally...

And I would like to point out that NO ONE in the United States until they live in Winnipeg, Manitoba for a wintertime. Or eight times. THEN I can assure you that you will know the absolute TRUE meaning of the word "cold"! *grins* #

      ( 12:11 PM ) Mandie
Sorry Danny... Can't say that I have. Comments haven't been wanting to cooperate but your page seems to be doing fine. >_< go figure!

Hmmmm... I might contemplate Minnesota if I could stand that much snow and cold Angie... but *chuckles* I may be from a northern state, but cold it ain't. At least not hear where we border desert and forest... Although since it's back in the 100+ range again I'm thinkin' I could do without the desert. #

*waits for Laura's post before saying anything else about Asian girls*

I think I have to switch my blog template. For some reason, it's really a pain in the arse and sometimes freezes. Anyone else visited and got that? #

      ( 6:33 PM ) Angie
There's always Minnesota, Mandie. Granted, it's not quite as far west as you are, but closer than DC! :D

*falls over at Asian girl comment too* I'M exotic looking where I am! Apparently Minnesotans must never see people from the Mediterranean area with all the Germans and Norwegians running around. Although there are growing Somali, Hmong, and Hispanic communities in the Twin Cities area.... #

      ( 5:20 PM ) Mandie
*sighs* D.C. is too far from the West though Laura... and well the west is home...

*dies with the Asian girl comment* Dude Danny... In Hawaii I'M more exotic looking than Asian girls *falls over* #
