Monday, August 11, 2003 ( 11:18 AM ) Laura Danny, I refuse to feed into that sodding mess. Yes, I did get both of their autographs at Katsucon last year, but that was because I had the time to kill and had nothing better to do. If you had SEEN the line for them at Otakon, you'd understand why I wanted to run away screaming. It was thirty THOUSAND miles long. I'm wondering when the novelty of this will finally wear off and I won't have to hear about it anymore. I was reading this thing two years ago and it's since become rather cliche that I hardly remember to read it anymore. I guess it lost its magic when it garnered its own sickeningly rabid fan base. [I know this sounds really trite, and that the same thing can be said for almost all anime, but the experiences I've had with MT fans have all been pretty negative, in that they were so obsessed that it was rather depressing.] I did, however, get an autograph when we all went to visit Ian J. in the Artist's Alley. [He drew Cherry for me! *_*] He's the artist that does RPG World. Would have gone to see Gabe & Tycho from Penny Arcade, too, but they cancelled. So I settled for watching the TM Revolution concert. >D # |
