Tuesday, July 29, 2003 ( 10:46 AM ) Laura Oh crap. Stupid blogger doesn't appear properly on my computer at work again. Either that, or it's having a brain fart. :P Like blogger has a brain... Anyway... Danny: Asian girls. *sigh* Don't get me started on his damn fixation. And my friend Kat's coming out to visit. She's Korean. One more joke out of him and he's getting a mallet to the head. I'm not exotic looking. I'm not even all that interesting to look at. [Or at least I think so. :P] There's quite a few shor blonde people at school here, though I do wonder how many of them are natural blondes. But I guess I'm exotic as I'm from NJ but don't have an awful accent. I've got more of a flat Midwestern sound to my voice. *shrugs* Either way, I sound like my mom. >.> The reason it took so long for me to post was simply the fact that I forgot about this blog for a couple days and I was dealing with what we students at GW so fondly refer to as "Student Death", but what's actually "Student Health Services". Chris so kindly suggested that I had the plague, but luckily he was wrong. Of course, no one knows what the hell I have, so I'm back at work and bored. :P This gives me the opportunity to write more of that fic for Mandie, which I know she enjoys. :D I get inspired at work, since my brain is doing NOTHING at all so much that it wanders into interesting places. [BTW, we need to talk about a specific plot point that occurred to me yesterday. It could be a problem, but I think I have a small way around it? I'll be online later tonight, so maybe we can talk about it. ^^] BLARGH. Hm, the new intern girl disappeared permanently, but I could get her paid slot for my last 6 or 7 days. $$=Laura not starving. :P As for cold stuff? Meh, I'm impervious to cold weather at this point. We get a wide variety of weather fronts in New Jersey, believe it or not. It's been 20 below and over a 100, we get blizzards, blistering heat, even a hurricane or two. All in a year of the life of New Jerseyan. :P Makes for fun uses of our snow days at school. # |
