Talk about annoying weirdness! I just tried to implement some new stuff on Random Thoughts, and, man, was it a pain in the ass! Plus, I had to change a bunch of stuff around with the comments... on top of that, I'm going to have to change the comment posting page to match the rest of the blog on all of them. Okay, enabled comments, title, and link... I also put archiving for monthly. However, I have to have post pages enabled in order to have comments. testing again I posted on Venting Insanity that I started up a GMail account to help out with the beta testing. I figured it would be fun and look good on a resume. Since this was the blog I used to do beta testing with Blogger when they made their new interface, I haven't used it since they moved out of the beta stage and set up their full release. Okay, I checked off draft. I want to see what this does. It put a little "DRAFT" notation next to the post header, along with the created date and time. Even if I hit "Post & Publish", it does not publish it to my blog page. I am now unchecking the Draft option. The "DRAFT" notation is gone and the post was published to my page. I like this option.

Okay, it' says 3:30, on Sep 9, on my edit page. It says the same on my actual blog page. The time has also been restored now that I unchecked the "Change Time & Date" feature. That and the default time they use is for Pacific. However, when you change the time, it isn't time zone specific.

Hmmm.... New stuff to play around with. I'd rather play around with them here than on my regular blog, tho', in case they mess things up. I like the archive features. You can add the archives on to your main page automatically or publish them on a separate page. No fancy code to mess up and try to stick in where you want the archive list Very nice.
